El nuevo edificio de Ingeniería de la Universidad Javeriana propone un atrio que actúa como elemento de unión entre el edificio de la facultad existente y la nueva torre de laboratorios. El espacio cubierto se conecta con la estructura peatonal del campus a distintas alturas y se convertirá en el espacio de encuentro para los miembros de facultad y estudiantes. El nuevo edificio de 8,500 m2 contará con tecnología de última generación para la investigación y docencia. Se espera su apertura en el segundo semestre del 2019.
The new Engineering building proposes an atrium which serves as a conector element between the existing faculty’s building and the new laboratory tower. The covered space connects with the pedestrian structure of the campus at different heights and becomes a meeting space for faculty members and students. The new building of 8,500 m2 will have state-of-the-art technology for research and teaching. It is expected to be open in the second half of 2019.
